Get ready to welcome 2026 with adventure and small-town charm! Whispering Sands Motel invites you to our New Year’s Eve Celebration on December 31, 2025–January 1, 2026 – featuring a town-wide Scavenger Hunt and a cozy evening party.
Scavenger Hunt
(New Years Eve through 5 PM New Year’s Day):
Pick up your checklist at check-in or the front desk. Explore Hanksville completing fun, family-safe challenges like snapping a selfie with Factory Butte, tasting a shake at Stan’s Burger Shak, finding hidden unicorns on property, or catching the first sunrise of 2026. Turn in your completed sheet by 5 PM January 1 for prizes!
Grand Prize: Free 1-night stay + $50 Duke’s gift card
2nd Place: Hanksville hoodie & mug
Everyone: “I Survived the Desert Hunt 2026” sticker
New Year’s Eve Party
(7–10 PM, location Hanksville Firehouse):
